Helping people with long-term health conditions move better,
feel stronger, and live more independently.
The Need
Why This Centre Is Needed
Croydon currently has no dedicated hydrotherapy facility. People living with long-term illness, disability, pain, or neurological conditions are forced to rely on disjointed, expensive, or inaccessible services.
This leaves too many people without the consistent rehabilitation and support they need to stay mobile, independent, and well.
Our Solution
Our Vision
Continuing Community Care is building a purpose-designed, fully accessible rehabilitation centre with hydrotherapy at its heart.
This centre will bring together rehabilitation, movement therapy, recovery, and community support in one place — making life-changing therapy accessible, affordable, and local.
The Facility
What the Centre Will Include
10m × 8m Hydrotherapy Pool
Sauna and Jacuzzi
Rehabilitation Gym
Treatment Rooms
Meditation / Recovery Room
Fully Accessible Changing & Toileting Facilities
Ceiling Hoists and Mobility Support
Reception and Community Foyer
Disabled Parking Bays
Designed specifically for people with mobility limitations, neurological conditions, chronic illness, and rehabilitation needs.
Who We Support
We support people living with:
Stroke and brain injury
Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and neurological conditions
Arthritis, chronic pain and fatigue conditions
Mobility impairment and post-surgical recovery
Long-term health conditions requiring ongoing rehabilitation
We focus on restoring function, confidence, and independence — not just treating symptoms.
Why Hydrotherapy Is So Effective
Hydrotherapy uses the unique properties of warm water to make movement safer and more effective:
Buoyancy reduces stress on joints and supports weak muscles
Warmth relaxes muscles and reduces pain and spasm
Water resistance builds strength safely without impact
Hydrostatic pressure improves circulation and reduces swelling
This makes it ideal for people who cannot exercise safely on land.
You Can Help Make This Centre a Reality
We have already raised over £35,000 towards our £250,000 target — but we cannot do this alone.
Every donation helps us move closer to building Croydon’s first dedicated hydrotherapy and rehabilitation centre.
