Who We Support

We support people living with:

Stroke and brain injury

Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and neurological conditions

Arthritis, chronic pain and fatigue conditions

Mobility impairment and post-surgical recovery

Long-term health conditions requiring ongoing rehabilitation

We focus on restoring function, confidence, and independence — not just treating symptoms.

Aqua Therapy – Rehabilitation & Recovery in the Water

At Continuing Community Care (CCC) we provide Aqua Therapy – a specialised form of water-based rehabilitation designed to help people recover movement, rebuild strength and improve mobility.

Warm water provides support and buoyancy, reducing pressure on joints and muscles while allowing movements that may be difficult or impossible on land. This makes Aqua Therapy particularly effective for people recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, injury, surgery or chronic pain.

  • Mobility and joint movement
    • Muscle strength
    • Balance and coordination
    • Walking and functional movement
    • Confidence in movement

Water creates a safe and supportive rehabilitation environment, allowing controlled exercises that can be adapted to each individual’s needs and ability.

Aqua Therapy is ideal for people who:

  • Are recovering from stroke or neurological conditions
    • Need to regain mobility after injury or surgery
    • Experience pain when exercising on land
    • Require gentle rehabilitation and guided movement

Aqua Pilates – Strength, Stability & Control in the Water

A powerful water-based exercise that focuses on core strength, posture, balance and controlled movement.

Unlike high-impact workouts, exercising in water reduces stress on the joints while providing natural resistance, making it ideal for people who want to improve strength safely.

  • Core strength
  • Balance and stability
  • Postural control
  • Flexibility and mobility
  • Gentle whole-body conditioning

Water creates 360° resistance, meaning every movement works multiple muscle groups while remaining low impact and joint-friendly.

Aqua Pilates is perfect for people who:
• Want a low-impact strength workout
• Are recovering from injury
• Need to improve stability and balance
• Prefer exercise that is gentle on joints but still effective

Aquarobics – Fitness & Movement in the Water

We offer Aquarobics – a fun and energising water-based workout designed to improve fitness, strength and overall wellbeing.

Exercising in water provides natural resistance while reducing impact on the joints, making Aquarobics a great way to stay active without the stress that land-based exercise can place on the body.

  • Cardiovascular fitness
    • Muscle strength and endurance
    • Coordination and balance
    • Flexibility and mobility
    • Overall energy and wellbeing

Water creates 360° resistance, meaning every movement works multiple muscle groups while remaining low impact and joint-friendly.

Aquarobics is ideal for people who:

  • Want a fun, low-impact fitness workout
    • Prefer exercise that is gentle on joints
    • Want to improve overall fitness and stamina
    • Enjoy group exercise in a supportive environment

Women Only Aquarobics – Fitness, Confidence & Movement in the Water

At Continuing Community Care (CCC) we offer Women Only Aquarobics – a fun, energising and supportive water-based workout designed exclusively for women to improve fitness, strength and overall wellbeing.

Exercising in water provides natural resistance while reducing impact on the joints, making Aquarobics a powerful way to stay active without the stress that land-based exercise can place on the body — all within a comfortable, women-only environment, helping participants improve:

  • Cardiovascular fitness
  • Muscle strength and endurance
  • Coordination and balance
  • Flexibility and mobility
  • Confidence and overall wellbeing

Water creates 360° resistance, meaning every movement works multiple muscle groups while remaining low impact and joint-friendly.

Our Women Only sessions provide a relaxed, respectful and supportive space where participants can feel comfortable, confident and focused on their health.

Women Only Aquarobics is ideal for those who:

  • Prefer a female-only environment
  • Want a fun, low-impact fitness workout

  • Enjoy group exercise in a supportive setting

WATSU – Relaxation, Support & Gentle Movement in Warm Water
WATSU is a deeply relaxing form of aquatic bodywork designed to promote comfort, gentle movement and overall wellbeing.

During a WATSU session, you are supported and guided through the warm water by a trained practitioner using slow, flowing movements, gentle stretches and rhythmic rocking.

The warmth and buoyancy of the water help reduce pressure on the joints and allow the body to move more freely. WATSU may help promote:

• Deep relaxation
• Reduced muscular tension
• Gentle flexibility and mobility
• A greater sense of calm
• Improved body awareness
• Emotional and physical wellbeing

Because your body is fully supported by the water and the practitioner, you do not need to be a confident swimmer. The session is calm, unhurried and adapted to your individual comfort and needs.

WATSU may be suitable for people who:

• Experience muscle tightness or joint stiffness
• Find land-based movement difficult or uncomfortable
• Want to improve relaxation and reduce stress
• Would benefit from gentle, supported movement
• Enjoy the calming and therapeutic qualities of warm water
• Want dedicated time to rest, reset and reconnect
