Who We Support
We support people living with:
Stroke and brain injury
Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and neurological conditions
Arthritis, chronic pain and fatigue conditions
Mobility impairment and post-surgical recovery
Long-term health conditions requiring ongoing rehabilitation
We focus on restoring function, confidence, and independence — not just treating symptoms.
Aqua Therapy – Rehabilitation & Recovery in the Water
At Continuing Community Care (CCC) we provide Aqua Therapy – a specialised form of water-based rehabilitation designed to help people recover movement, rebuild strength and improve mobility.
Warm water provides support and buoyancy, reducing pressure on joints and muscles while allowing movements that may be difficult or impossible on land. This makes Aqua Therapy particularly effective for people recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, injury, surgery or chronic pain.
- Mobility and joint movement
• Muscle strength
• Balance and coordination
• Walking and functional movement
• Confidence in movement
Water creates a safe and supportive rehabilitation environment, allowing controlled exercises that can be adapted to each individual’s needs and ability.
Aqua Therapy is ideal for people who:
- Are recovering from stroke or neurological conditions
• Need to regain mobility after injury or surgery
• Experience pain when exercising on land
• Require gentle rehabilitation and guided movement
Aqua Pilates – Strength, Stability & Control in the Water
A powerful water-based exercise that focuses on core strength, posture, balance and controlled movement.
Unlike high-impact workouts, exercising in water reduces stress on the joints while providing natural resistance, making it ideal for people who want to improve strength safely.
- Core strength
- Balance and stability
- Postural control
- Flexibility and mobility
- Gentle whole-body conditioning
Water creates 360° resistance, meaning every movement works multiple muscle groups while remaining low impact and joint-friendly.
Aqua Pilates is perfect for people who:
• Want a low-impact strength workout
• Are recovering from injury
• Need to improve stability and balance
• Prefer exercise that is gentle on joints but still effective
