Volunteer With Us — Help Build Something That Truly Matters

Continuing Community Care is building something that does not yet exist in Croydon: a fully accessible rehabilitation and hydrotherapy centre for people living with long-term health conditions, disability, and chronic illness.

This won’t happen without people.

It won’t happen without time, skills, energy, and community support. That’s where volunteers come in.

Volunteering with us isn’t about making tea and ticking a box. It’s about being part of something practical, meaningful, and genuinely life-changing.

Why We Need Volunteers

Our fundraisers, events, and community projects are what keep this charity moving forward.

Volunteers help us to:

  • Run fundraising events (raffles, fayres, dinners, quizzes, campaigns)
  • Set up and pack down venues
  • Sell tickets, manage stalls, and welcome guests
  • Promote events locally and online
  • Support clients and families at events
  • Help us raise awareness, not just money

Every event that succeeds moves us closer to building our rehabilitation centre.
Every volunteer hour counts.

Why People Volunteer With Us

People volunteer with us because they want to:

  • Be part of something that has a real impact
  • Support people who are often overlooked or underserved
  • Use their skills for something meaningful
  • Meet like-minded people who care about their community
  • See tangible results from their effort

This is not abstract. You will see the people you are helping. You will see the difference your time makes.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need special qualifications — just reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help.

We welcome:

  • Event helpers
  • Fundraising and raffle support
  • People who are good with numbers, organisation, or social media
  • Practical people who can lift, carry, build, set up, or fix
  • Friendly faces who can welcome guests and supporters

Whether you can give an hour a month or help regularly, it all matters.

The Bottom Line

If you believe people with long-term health conditions deserve better access to care, better recovery, and better quality of life — this is a cause worth giving your time to.

We’re building something ambitious. Something necessary. Something that will outlast all of us.

If that resonates with you, we’d love to have you with us.
